The rear sway bar keeps the GMT800 flat through corners, but it only works through the two end links connecting it to the frame — and after 20+ years the factory links are worn, clunking over bumps and letting body roll creep back in. Our Camp REL2 replaces them with 0.75" OD cold-rolled steel, a poly bushing at the sway-bar end, and a welded Rock Jock Johnny Joint at the frame end — built to the exact length for your lift so the bar holds up under load.
The Avalanche does a little of everything — daily driving, weekend cargo runs, family duty, the occasional tow. That mix of jobs gives the rear suspension a busier life than most. After a couple decades of it, the rear suspension is showing its age, and the fixed-length arms leave nowhere to re-align the rear axle after a lift. You feel it as a clunk under throttle, a thud over expansion joints, and a vague, loose feel when you're loaded. Switching to Core 4x4 brings the rear back where it should be — with stronger, more durable construction built in.

Tier guide — Cruise (entry, factory-power daily — lifted or not) → Camp (mid, this product) → Crawl (top, extreme off-road, heavy towing, or high-HP builds). Camp is the sweet spot — serious off-road capability without giving up street manners. Step up to Crawl if you're towing heavy or building serious power — Johnny Joints handle that load better than bushings.
Hardware included — Core 4x4 end links use a thru-bolt design that won't work with factory stud-and-nut hardware, so the install hardware — bolts, nuts, washers, and fender washers — always ships in the box. Replacement hardware is available as a standalone HWK SKU if you ever need more.
Pairing tip — Doing a lift? These end links are part of our 7-piece full rear suspension kit — step up to the 7-piece kit to do the entire rear suspension in one order.
